Harvest Days

I felt great during and after this race. Here are my splits according to my own time keeping...
10:24--mile 1

I was so excstatic about being way under 11 minutes. I was expecting a 36:00 at best.

It was a nice fast, flat course with 2 water stops. Great T too. Definately will do it again next year.

Now next week is the 40 foot challenge. I have to get in the right frame for that. My time will not be as good by nature of the course. But it should be a great challenge.

Goal for next flat course is to break a 10 minute mile for at least one.

This weekend was a wash since we went to St. Louis. Had fun though.

Cathe, muscle endurance.
Also, walked the girls to school (23 min.), plan on picking them up.

You muddled through the Daniel waking, Luci hungry and up and wanting to exercise too and did it!

A little weak on the triceps and chest and you skimped out just a little on lunges.

Did everything with 10s or 5s.

Good job.

Great drive. You didn't do anything this weekend, but actually lived up to your promise to do 4 today! It wasn't total run because you walked with Dawn some, but you ran faster with her too so great!

Now do Cathe Tues and Thurs.

I didn't do a long run, which was going to be 4 miles. I'll try to make up for it tomorrow morning...we'll see.

Also, try to get in yoga and more wieghts. Yoga should help with the stiffness and weights will take off the weight!

Again hard, probably because of little sleep and stress. Luci woke up at three also (Mommy will you come to the bathroom with me so I'm not scared. "You'll be fine" But Mommy! "ok ok" stand in the bathroom put her in bed)

Ran 2.75 miles walked about 1

I went on the path, first with the goal of 6 miles. However, I slept in today with no kids in the house, watched television and then slept some more. So I went out at excactly high noon, literally. When I went out the shadows were on the left side of hte path, on the way back they were on the right. So, I changed my goal to 4 miles. However, I then ran into a horrible stench. toward the middle end of mile 2. I was literally going to puke, so I turned around and went back. I think I should get the 6 miles in next weekend. Then I will be ready for The Harvest Days 5K.
